World Forum Lille Institute

At the heart of the "Alliances Network" and in the frame of the "World Forum Lille", a Think Tank entitled "World Forum Lille Institute” has been created.

The mission of the Think Tank is to conduct and spread studies and research, affirm positions, and to make recommendations on Corporate Societal Responsibility.

The “World Forum Lille Institute” is piloted by

• a Steering Committee (presided by the President of the World Forum Lille) composed of: Company directors of World Forum Lille partners, co-opted Qualified associates, Experts (notably university professors and researchers) chosen in function with their competences on CSR and business ethics. It defines the strategy of the World Forum Lille Institute, determines the program of work and actions, and validates external communication. The studies and research and preparation for publications are under the aegis of a Scientific Committee, emanating from the Steering Committee.
• The Scientific Committee is composed primarily of experts and is run by one of them. It supervises work groups constituted in function of themes and subjects of study and research retained by the Steering Committee. It can spark off and follow projects, memoirs, and theses of students and doctors.

The aims of the World Forum Lille Institute is to prolong the major international gatherings of the World Forum Lille, in order to perpetuate and amplify it.

To feed and make known its work, the World Forum Lille Institute invests in diverse manifestations and publications:

• Thematic workshops are organized all year long. They can take place during one day or even half a day, in Lille, as well as in Paris and Brussels, and even other cities and towns depending on the demands.

• “Communication” will be published regularly under the form of articles and columns (in reviews and daily publications) and press releases.

• "Questionings" should be addressed on behalf of the World Forum Lille Institute, politicians, business circles, trade unions, associations, etc.

• The World Forum Lille Institute will contribute to the spreading of the “Responsible Company Manifesto” which was launched in the frame of the World Forum Lille 2010.
