President's word

The World Forum Lille for sustainable economy is a cycle of events with 1 objective: to prove that some companies are conducting their business in a responsible manner and that it has no detrimental effect on their performance - quite the opposite! Our hope is to make such "best practices" known and bring them into widespread use.

This responsible economy that humanity wishes for with all its might already exists! For the third consecutive year the World Forum Lille proves it. Highlighted and being debated are Best Practices from around the world. These show that we can adopt a different approach to finance and that respect for people and the environment can contribute to the improvement of economic performances.

We have already opened the next chapter: please note our next meeting on 24th, 25th and 26th November 2010 on “the responsible company”.
