The World Forum Lille for sustainable economy is a cycle of events with 1 objective: to prove that some companies are conducting their business in a responsible manner and that it has no detrimental effect on their performance - quite on the opposite! Our hope is to make such "best practices" known and bring them into widespread use.

After Diversity in 2007 and the Protection of the Planet in 2008, the 3rd World Forum will be dedicated to « Sustainable finance ». In fact, corporate social and environmental responsibility also applies to the use of money - giving preference to long term strategies over short-term speculation; taking into account non-financial aspects when making financial decisions; investing into socially-responsible projects, applying principles of fair remuneration to managers.

The sudden fall of financial empires should not overshadow countless initiatives that demonstrate that another approach to finance is possible and profitable!
